The purpose of this advanced graduate study program is to identity interview and testing procedures
to help organizations select new employees, develop programs to train and retrain employeees, and learn
about market research. The coursework in Industrial/Organizational Psychology will provide an overview of

IOP6006 - Organizational/Industrial Psychology
This course focuses on how successful managers and employees apply human concepts to resolve problems and issues. These processes
include exploring personality and group dynamics that affect attitudes and behaviors.
IOP6007 - Consulting in Business, Education and Mental Health
This course provides the basics of the consultation process and provides models for consulting in the organizational, mental health
and educational settings.
IOP6008 - Survey Research Methods
This course is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the survey research process, and the practical application of survey
methods as used in psychological, educational and social science research. Major topics include the development of research questions
and hypotheses, sampling procedures, questionnaire design, survey administration, data processing analysis and reporting.
HRM5000 - Human Resources Management
This course focuses on the understanding and management of human behavior in organizations for optimal organizational effectiveness
and individual outcomes. Managing the dynamics of individual, group, and system relationships to achieve organizational goals is
recognized.
MGT5006 - Organizational Behavior
Managers need to develop their interpersonal or people skills if they are going to be effective in their jobs. Organizational behavior (OB)
is a field of study that investigates the impact that individuals, groups, and structure have on behavior within an organization, then
applies that knowledge to make organizations work more effectively. Specifically, OB focuses on how to improve productivity, reduce
absenteeism and turnover, and increase employee citizenship and job satisfaction. As managers accomplish their work through others, OB
provides the tools for guiding the productivity of others, predicting human behavior at work and the perspectives needed to manage
individuals from diverse backgrounds.
MGT5010 - Leadership in Organizations
Investigation of leadership roles, styles, philosophy, and behavior in organizations are components of this course. It also explores
the qualities of leadership through the presentation of new models dealing with high performance leadership. This course presents a
broad survey of theory and research on leadership in formal organizations. The key question to be answered after the completion of
this course is; What makes a person an effective leader?
